Instructions

Step 1

Issue a consignment note in case of carriage of goods by road. In this case, the waybill will serve as an accompanying document, on the basis of which the acceptance of material values is carried out. Without it, it is impossible to legally write off the goods to the consignor and post it to the consignee.

Step 2

If we are talking about the carriage of homogeneous goods from one shipper to the address of the same consignee, issue a waybill for all cargo that will be sent during the work shift. In this case, the registration of each trip is made with a special separate coupon.

Step 3

Prepare a bill of lading in four copies. The first one remains with the consignor of the cargo and is intended for writing off material values. Hand the remaining three copies to the driver, having previously certified them with the signatures of the responsible persons and the seal of the consignor. One of them must be handed over by the driver to the recipient of the cargo, the third and fourth copies are received by the owner of the vehicle.

Step 4

Start your waybill by filling in the details of the consignee and shipper, including addresses and contact numbers. Enter the billing details of the payer.

Step 5

Execute the product section of the document. Indicate in it the quantity of goods, its price, the name of the product. Be sure to reflect the condition of the packaging at the time of shipment. Enter the weight of the load. Also indicate the number of the power of attorney and the date of its issue to the person who accepted the goods (driver, forwarder). If necessary, attach a certificate of conformity or a product passport to the document.

Step 6

Complete the transport section of the waybill. Enter the details of the driver carrying out the transportation. Enter the addresses of the loading and unloading points. Reflect in this part also information about the nature of the cargo and the number of places.

Step 7

Verify the invoice with the head of the organization and the chief accountant. Place the shipper's stamp on each copy. More detailed instructions for filling out the consignment note with regulatory documents are not provided.
